Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Head of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.


She is also a member of the Youth Working Committee of Chinese Composite Materials Society, a member of the Biomedical Materials Committee of Chinese Medical and Health Culture Association, a youth director of Guangdong Organizational Engineering Society and an editorial board member of the journal of Biomedical Engineering.


Work engaged in biodegradable biological materials, especially natural materials such as chitosan, sodium alginate, collagen, sodium hyaluronate and their derivatives porous sponge, micro-nanoparticles, fibers, injectable hydrogel, composite reinforcement materials preparation, modification and processing, and 3D bio-printing, for tissue repair and targeted therapy, bone tissue regeneration, disc repair, eye conjunctival repair, diabetic foot treatment and vascular regeneration, tumor targeted administration.Two alginate dressings of the third-class of medical devices involved in the development have obtained registration certificates, and the self-cured calcium phosphate artificial bone has completed the  physical and chemical performance and biocompatibility tests.


In the past five years, she has presided over and participated in 2 key special projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China and 4 provincial and ministerial-level projects.She has published nearly 50 biomass research papers; and compiled 4 academic works. Reviewers of prominent journals including Acta Biomaterialia, JBMR, Express polym.


In 2006 and 2012, he won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of Education and Guangdong Province.She has been awarded the Excellent Doctoral thesis of Guangdong Province, Outstanding Young Research Worker of Jinan University, Thousand Ten Provincial Science and Technology Training Talents of Guangdong Province, and the first Pearl River Science and Technology New Star of Guangzhou city.
