Chen Zheng, M.D., Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, Associate Professor/Associate Chief Physician, Visiting Scholar at the University of British Columbia (UBC)

 Dr. Chen Zheng has been engaged in the study and research of urology, male infertility, and sexual medicine since 2009. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of urological tumors (prostate cancer, urothelial carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma), benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis, and urinary tract stones. Dr. Chen has published over 40 academic papers in core domestic and international journals as the first author (including co-first author) and corresponding author (including co-corresponding author), including more than 20 SCI-indexed papers, two of which have an impact factor exceeding 10. He has applied for 30 national patents, with 18 already approved (7 invention patents and 11 utility model patents), two of which have been successfully commercialized. Dr. Chen has contributed to the writing of two medical books: *Wu Jieping Urology* and *Practical Medicine*.

 Dr. Chen has led more than 10 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, postdoctoral research initiation and general projects, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Plan projects, and Guangzhou Basic and Applied Basic Research Plan projects. He has also participated as a key member in 20 major research initiatives, including the Ministry of Science and Technology's Major Special Project (Prostate Cancer Cohort Study) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China's general projects. Dr. Chen established the Prostate Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center at the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University and serves as the head of the GCP (Good Clinical Practice) base.

 Dr. Chen has received numerous accolades, including the 2024 Guangdong Provincial Pioneer Award in Medical Innovation and Transformation, the 2023 Southern Regional Championship and National Second Prize in the Boundary Explorer Show - Urology Young Physicians Case and Surgical Video Competition, and the 2021 First National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Finals Excellence Award..
