主任医师、教授、博士研究生导师，荣获2023年全国五一巾帼标兵、2023年广东省先进女职工个人、2020年9月荣获抗击新冠肺炎疫情-全国三八红旗手、2020年广东省先进个人、2019年广东省杰出青年医学人才、广州市医学重点人才等多项荣誉。作为广东省第22批援鄂医疗队医疗组组长，雷神山ICU负责人带领170余名队员整建制接管武汉大学中南医院重症病区。2021-2023年多次作为国务院应对新冠肺炎疫情重症专家组专家，奔赴海南、新疆及广东等各地指导抗疫救治工作。

在脓毒症、急性肾损伤、重症肺炎和多脏器功能障碍综合症（MODS）等领域取得多项成绩，主持有国家自然科学基金面上项目两项，广东省市级科研项目多项，相关成果发表在JAMA、Crit Care、Br J Anaesth、Apoptosis、Int Immunopharmacol、iScience、J Transl Med、Shock、Anesth Analg、Transl Psychiatry、Med Teach等SCI期刊。2024年获广东省学位与研究生教育学会优秀教学成果奖二等奖、广东省医院协会管理与科技创新奖（科技类）二等奖、管理与科技创新奖（管理类）二等奖等奖项。
