暨南大学生命科学技术学院生态学系副研究员，硕士生导师，从事水生生物与环境关系研究。在大型海藻生物修复、浮游生物生态学和水环境方面具有较扎实的相关理论基础和研究工作经验，研究水域涉及近海、河流、湖泊和水库等多种水环境，曾先后在中国科学院水生生物研究所，中国科学院地球化学研究所，英国利物浦大学访问学习和合作研究。已承担国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金和教育部专项科研基金等项目10项。已在国内外期刊发表相关学术论文40余篇，参与编写专著3部。
